The Mobileys is a mobile innovation competition created by Mobile Future, and our very own Code Blue has been selected as a finalist!
Code Blue is an app we are developing which will be free and easy to use. It will help young people experiencing depression or bullying to reach out for immediate support from people they trust. Code Blue will act like a ‘panic button’ for young people who perhaps can’t articulate what they are feeling, yet desperately want support. It allows them to select a support crew of people they trust who on receiving a ‘Code Blue’ alert will be able to provide immediate support via text, phone, or by showing up in person.
We are so passionate about the difference Code Blue will make to people’s lives, and this recognition from The Mobileys competition is a fantastic boost for the project.
In addition to The Mobileys award winners being chosen by a panel of judges, there will also be public voting for a people’s choice award. Voting will open in early October, so please stay tuned for the voting details on our social media channels!
